Attorney Mike Brennan: 2024’s New Laws Impacting Rental Housing

Landlord Attorney, Mike Brennan Explains Important Updates

The legislative session for 2023 has finally ended. More than 2,600 new laws were proposed, including dozens of proposed housing regulations. Through the extensive advocacy efforts undertaken by the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles and its allies, most of the more harmful of these proposed new laws have been avoided – but there’s always a chance they will return again next year.

Despite our efforts, several new housing laws were passed which will directly impact California residential landlords. Are you ready? Do you know what new laws will impact your rental operations in 2024? Attorney Mike Brennan has all the information you need to ensure you stay in compliance with the law and avoid costly penalties. Mike will also cover trending topics that are creating big challenges for owners and managers.
