Learn how you can maximize your monthly income out of your current building (single family homes, too!). New California laws allow you to add more units to your existing property through Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).  Also learn how to keep your tenants and building safe with Senate Bills 326 and 721 - mandatory balcony inspections.

You can “Kill Two Birds With One Stone.”  With ADU 1, You Can Construct ADUs and Complete Seismic Retrofitting at Same Time!

JOIN US to learn about multifamily ADU income opportunities you can take advantage of today.

Accessory Dwelling Units or “ADUs” are a great way to increase rental income and improve your “N.O.I.”  If YOU are interested in learning about all the new California laws that encourage construction of ADUs, this is the webinar for you!  Today’s regulations and rent control laws, and potential property tax increases already make owning and managing rental property challenging.  ADUs will help to improve your “bottom line.”  So, please join us with ADU experts, David Tashroudian, Esq. and Helen Fower as they explain the opportunities YOU may have by constructing an ADU at YOUR property.  Learn about the NEW California laws that allow YOU to add more rental units at your property and boost your income.

Learn how YOU can get YOUR Free Land Use Analysis!

As of January 1, 2020, a new state allows multifamily property owners to add up to three or more rental units at their property…that's right – state law allows you to increase the number of rental units you own with very few restrictions.  Under the new “ADU Law,” owners may add two new rental units regardless of square footage or number of units currently at the property and without any issue of local restrictions.  Additionally, YOU may add 25% more rental units on top of that based upon YOUR existing square footage. New this year, a state bill is pending to change height limits on ADUs from 16-feet to 18-feet!

Discussion topics Include:

  • The new laws and regulations allowing Accessory Dwelling Units or “ADUs” to be constructed at multifamily buildings, including new allowable height limits and streamlining of approvals.
  • How to add units to a multifamily property to generate additional income?
  • Do you also need to retrofit your building? Learn how YOU can satisfy earthquake seismic retrofitting ordinances while constructing an Accessory Dwelling Unit at the same time!
  • Learn your income potential vs. anticipated project cost – understand YOUR return on investment.
  • Learn how YOU can construct an ADU at your property to increase your multifamily rental income today, RIGHT NOW!
  • How to convert garages, recreational, laundry and storage rooms into Accessory Dwelling Units that you can generate rental income for.
  • Understand your “income potential” vs. “anticipated cost” – Know our R.O.I. potential.
  • No parking? Learn how YOU can eliminate parking at YOUR building with no additional parking requirements so long as your property is located within one-half mile of mass-transit, and how YOU can add even more Accessory Dwelling Units.
  • Learn the “step-by-step” process on how YOU can make this ADU opportunity best work for YOU.
  • Special Bonus Topic: Learn the mandatory requirements under California Senate Bill 721 requiring balcony, deck, and walkway inspections at multifamily properties.
  • And much, much more – your questions submitted prior to and during the webinar will drive the discussion.

This informative webinar will also address any questions that are submitted by you! After registering, you will have the opportunity to submit questions. Live Q&A will also be available during the webinar, and we will do our best to consolidate and identify those questions that will benefit all attendees.
