Be sure to join us for our Annual Membership General Meeting in person on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. Joining us will be Sasha Struthers, Esq. who joins us for a presentation on tenant buyouts known as “Cash-for-Keys” agreements.

You won’t want to miss this meeting as we nominate our Slate of Directors and our Board President, Ms. Cheryl Turner, Esq. who will be serving her fourth term next year. Also, join us for a discussion about “cash-for-keys” tenant buyout agreements by a leading attorney in that area, Sasha Struthers. The Board of Directors’ vote will be conducted by our past President, Harold Greenberg, Esq.

Keynote Speaker:

Sasha Struthers, Esq.

Sasha Struthers is a California licensed Attorney and Real Estate Broker with a law practice that focuses on 'Cash for Keys'/ tenant buyouts and government agency complaints such as REAP, CRD, and Orders to Comply. Sasha's experience managing a 15-building real estate portfolio, including five apartments subject to LARSO has allowed her to help landlords strategically reposition their portfolios, maximize income, and reduce management stress. Her experience is shared through informative videos educating landlords on various aspects of real estate. She writes a weekly newsletter on various real estate related topics, including the latest real estate news. You can check out her law practice at www.struthers.legal.

Cheryl Turner, Esq.

Board President, Cheryl Turner, is a trial lawyer and transactional attorney with an extensive background in business, insurance, real estate, and construction. She has managed her own legal practice, Turner Law, for more than twenty years. She is a former Real Estate Broker and currently holds a Public Works Construction Management Certificate. She was selected as one of the Outstanding Young Women of America. Ms. Turner earned her Bachelor of .Arts degree and Juris Doctor Law degree from the University of Southern California.

Daniel Yukelson, Executive Director

Daniel Yukelson is currently the Executive Director of The Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA). As Certified Public Accountant, Yukelson began his career at Ernst & Young, the global accounting firm, and has served in senior financial roles principally as Chief Financial Officer for various public, private and start-up companies, including Premiere Radio Networks and Oasis West Realty. He is also a former Planning Commissioner for the City of Beverly Hills.

Harold Greenberg, Esq., Past President

Harold Greenberg is an attorney practicing real estate law in the Los Angeles area. He received his Bachelors’ Degree graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Pennsylvania State University in 1961. He was a Commissioned Infantryman and part of the Military Police as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. After the Army, Mr. Greenberg attended law school at the Temple University Law School and received his J.D. degree. During his expansive legal career, he served as a Judge Advocate in the General’s Corps., as a Deputy Public Defender and District Attorney for Los Angeles County, and has taught Criminal Law and Evidence at the California State University in Los Angeles and the Glendale University College of Law.
