About Our Panelist…

Elaine Simpson is a passionate businesswoman, national speaker, consultant, author and trainer specializing in everything property management and multifamily.  With over 35 years experiencing the good, the bad and the ugly of the industry, Elaine is recognized as the “Property Management Expert.”  She has been in the housing industry since 1986 having worked for local and national industry leading companies.  Ms. Simpson started on site as a leasing consultant, and she quickly moved up, working as assistant manager, site manager, executive director and finally senior regional manager with communities in several states and portfolios containing more than 1,400 units.

Ms. Simpson founded Occupancy Solutions approximately 15 years ago to provide support services and consulting for onsite operations, marketing, leasing as well as training programs for multifamily professionals of market rate, senior and affordable housing communities throughout the United States.  Using her knowledge, experience, and innovative ideas, she implements customized solutions for property management professionals around the world that result in increased income and decreased vacancy.

She is also the creator of “The Property Management Adult Coloring Book” author of “Close The Back Door- Solutions for Retaining Residents” and founder and editor of the magazine Occupancy Solutions, the only magazine dedicated to the onsite property management professional.
