PENBROOK, Pa. (WHTM) – When Deborah White was walking into her apartment complex in Penbrook, something caught her eye.
“I just looked in the air conditioning covering and I saw this thing looking back at me,” White said.
It was a hidden surveillance camera set up by a neighbor.
“Filming me and my family as we go in and out,” she said. “I am very uncomfortable with it.”
White contacted Pennsylvania Properties, which manages Penn Square Apartments. Shortly after, signs saying “property under surveillance” were posted at the entry to the apartment complex.
White also noticed more cameras on her neighbor’s window and decided to check her lease.
