Credit Reporting Agencies Removing Reporting Data

The three major credit reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion have revised their reporting standards.  Effective in April, the credit reporting agencies will be removing and no longer reporting data for civil judgments and the majority of tax liens.

AAGLA members need to be aware of these changes to consumer credit reporting.  Now more than ever, AAGLA members need to dig deeper when doing background and credit checks.  Accordingly, conducting eviction and criminal searches is more important than ever before.
